Tokisushi

I was walking aimlessly to find something to eat for dinner and I must have caught the store employee/owner's eyes because he gestured me inside (thank you for finding me!) With my limited Japanese and a bit of English, I got some recommendations and got some sashimi, uni, squid (and a yuzu+vodka drink). All very fresh and delicious! I was shown how to eat the uni which I am very grateful for! A very special experience with some lovely local Osaka people. Thank you so much!

Originally I wanted to go to the cafe next to the restaurant, however it was fully seated, which gave me a chance to try this sushi restaurant! The restaurant offers well-priced options considering the freshness and quality of food. The lunch set 九十九盛り定食 with options on volume of rice (シャリ) was very bargaining The sashimi were fresh and well decorated on the bowl, the most surprised serving was that you could choose 2 little sides from the fridge!

This was the best sushi I have had in my life. I highly recommend. I only ordered the seared sushi and after eating it I had to have more. The coats vary depending on what you are buying. If you want to buy individual pics of sushi it starts at 200¥ and goes to 800¥. It's well worth the money. They also have combos that are 6,8,12 pieces that are under 2000¥. If you like sushi a lot. I highly recommend this place. If it's great tasting sushi you want this is the place to get it.

Ate lunch here with my family 2025 May 17. Since it was past 1pm our family was able to be seated. Immediately we were served with water and an oshibori. Food came promptly. The dishes were fresh, well presented and delicious. The staff were very helpful and readily assisted us with our queries. This restaurant is highly recommended if you’re in Namba near Doguyasuji area.

My first meal in Japan was great. I had the 8-piece seared sushi set meal (¥1,500) which was fantastic. I also tried the 12-piece sushi lunch set (¥1,600) with fresh ingredients and a good variety. It came with a free miso soup that had pieces of fish in it.

Easily the best sushi I've ever had! The kitchen staff were also very accommodating to avoid any cross contamination due to my allergies/dietary requirements which was much appreciated. I highly recommend!!!

The sushi is so so good. It's the first time I've had raw shrimp, as well as the chtoori and urchin, and it was all so delicious. I had the assorted sashimi, the nigiri for the fatty salmon, the fatty tuna, medium fatty tuna, and shrimp. The restaurant is cute, we sat at the counter and the team was super friendly to foreigners trying to speak with us. We had a food tour guide (Shehab) who recommended the place and handled all the communication but it was still super friendly. I would highly recommend it as a place to visit and have delicious sushi.

The chef Nakayama was amazing and so fun to talk to! He really made us feel welcome and the sushi was so delicious. He even gave us mini sushi as extra! We will definitely come back!
